Upgrade from Scuba Diver to Open Water Diver
From NZD
$449.00
- Duration: 2 Days (approx.)
- Product code: P096B7
Now you've experienced the underwater world, upgrade your skills, knowledge and depth limits by upgrading your PADI Scuba Diver qualification to the full PADI Open Water Diver license.
The PADI Open Water Diver qualification will allow you to extend your depth limits from 12 meters to 18 meters. It also allows you to dive independently with your other qualified friends rather than under the supervision of a dive professional. This allows you more freedom and flexibility to explore the diving opportunities around you at home and on holiday.
The upgrade begins with a half day of theory, including how to use dive planner tables. After this you will spend another half day in our beautiful lagoon going over some additional skills you may need when diving, and once these are completed you head out on the boat for 2 dives in the ocean on our outer reef on an additional half day trip. The total course therefore covers 3 half days and costs nz$449, which includes equipment, instruction and a certification as a PADI Open Water Diver.
